Terms + Conditions
By placing an order on this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Proofing
For custom stationery (except vow books), three proofs are included and additional proofs for minor wording changes are available for $75 each proof.
The client is responsible for the design in its entirety; once cards are sent to print, we are unable to make additional changes. Current print times are listed in our shop; please note that due to material availability, these timelines are estimates and your order may take longer to produce. Orders are shipped with tracking and insurance, and orders over $500 require a signature upon delivery.
Placing Your Order
Upon receipt of your order, we will begin ordering your materials (paper, envelopes, etc.). Please note that once an order is placed, if changes are made to quantities or materials this may incur additional fees and an increased print timeline. If you require less than the quantity purchased, the purchase is nonrefundable so please ensure that you have an accurate count prior to placing your order.
For wedding stationery, should you need more cards once your order goes to print, there will be a $100 print set up fee incurred plus the cost of the extra items. During peak season or vacations, we may become booked so it is best to place your order as soon as possible. August + White may reserve the right to cancel any new orders and process a full refund for any reason.
Materials
For wedding stationery, we recommend ordering a sample if you are concerned about color variances or material selections.
We source from many vendors for our products, and cannot guarantee that all of the paper, envelopes, and any extras that we offer through our Collection will be available. Should your selections become unavailable or will take longer to produce, we will notify you as soon as possible. For handmade paper, there will be variances in size, color, texture, and thickness. Please note that these are made from recycled materials, so the beauty of handmade pieces is not an indicator of an error.
Colors
While we strive to represent colors shown on our website and your final product, we cannot guarantee that colors will be identical to the color on your screen. Please note that due to monitor variances the colors of your items as seen on your monitor may slightly vary from the actual printed color.
For ink colors, please note these can still vary from the printed sample to the final product, due to printer maintenance.
Timing
We order materials based on the order placed on this website; please note that we cannot guarantee any print or production times, as these are estimates. We will notify the client as soon as possible if the order needs longer times due to backordered materials, print vendors, etc. which are out of August + White’s control.
Shipping
Once we have handed your package to a third party carrier, August + White is no longer liable for the package. We do not provide refunds for packages that are damaged, lost or delayed by a third party carrier. For international orders, please note that all tariffs or taxes on your package are the responsibility of the client.
Refunds & Cancellations
Due to the custom nature of your order, we do not offer refunds or any type of cancellations. Should there be an error on our end, we will do our best to remedy the situation as soon as possible. Should this occur, please note that we do not provide rush shipping services. Your package will need to be inspected within 48 hours of receipt; errors reported after this timeline are at the discretion of August + White to remedy.
Pricing
Pricing is subject to change without notice. We do our best to ensure the pricing is correct on the site; however, we reserve the right to refund and cancel any order with incorrect pricing.
Illustrations
Pricing on this site for commissioned illustration work covers only one reference photo, at the exact angle you would like. Please note that the photo cannot be of another artist's work (drawing, painting, etc.) to avoid copyright issues.
If more than one photo is provided, or if we need to combine objects from different photos please reach out to us prior with your ideas to obtain a separate quote. We will charge additional fees based on the complexity of the illustration.
Illustration fees are for design time, not for the actual product and we unable to provide refunds. August + White will retain the rights to the illustration, and it cannot be distributed or resold.
Assembly
Assembly includes stuffing the envelopes only; it does not include postage. Once you receive your package, you will take one full set to the post office where you will be mailing them from to have them properly weighed and inquire about hand cancelling services. August + White uses permanent adhesive to seal the envelopes, if sealing is requested. We are not responsible for damage caused during shipping to your guests. By agreeing the the terms and conditions and purchasing assembly services, you are allowing August + White to determine the best order to assemble your suite.
